Charlie was definitely in a good mood. Scratch that, he was always in a good mood! There was just something so absolutely exciting about life! Especially now that he was at a camp! A camp! So many new things to discover! Sure, he knew that he was supposed to just stay in certain areas and as a son of... whatwashername? Demeter! he wasn't supposed to go in other cabins. But... well, he had no... "claimed" siblings. What did claimed mean anyway? It was all rather confusing for the young seven year old to grasp.
But that wasn't important! The important thing was that he was having fun! Lots of it! And that he had just been exploring, and he'd only gotten lost, so it wasn't a big deal if he was found where he wasn't supposed to be, right? Nevermind the fact that he was only a couple cabins down, Charlie had managed to convince himself that he was on a grand adventure, like some of those older campmates did. What were they called? Qu... Quizzes? QUESTS! Yeah, those! He was on a quest! To save a damsel in distress! And he accidentally took a wrong turn and he had to battle someone to get past the dragon!
Wandering around in the maze, aka Hera's cabin, Charlie swung around his imaginary sword, giggling the whole time and practically bouncing from the fun of it. Why hadn't he gone to summer camp before? This was just too fun! All he needed was someone to play the damsel in distress now! Or maybe the villain? Since the princess would probably just stand in the corner watching him, and that wasn't as fun to play, right?
NO! He couldn't think about that now! He had someone to fight. And with that, Charlie let out his Tarzan/War-cry. "OOOOOOO-UUUUU-OOOOOO!"

Orla heard a sound from the Hera cabin. It sounded like... screaming?! And, oh my gods, wasn't there a little boy at Camp...? Charlie Chapman, she thought his name was? Oh gods He must be hurt! Orla ran into the Hera cabin, fiery hair flying. "Charlie? Are you ok?" She stopped when she was in the cabin. He didn't SEEM hurt. "Was that you screaming?" she asked him, looking down at his innocent face. Awww. She pushed her hair back with both hands and nearly got an imaginary sword in the stomach.
"Heeey, what are you doing?" she glared, automatically. Then she realised he was apparently playing some sort of fantasy game. A smile crept over her face. She loved watching kids play. It was so fascinating to see their take on the world. And, since she was an only child, and she didn't keep in contact with any other young relatives (if she had any; she didn't even know if she did), she hadn't had a chance to see a proper, real-life, imaginary game taking place. Unless you count all those looooonngg days on the beach, just people-watching. "Whoa Charlie! That big Cyclops over there isn't gonna kill itself, you know!" she told him, playing along. Orla never used to play fantasy games when she was little. She didn't really do anything FUN. She just sort of... played on the beach, digging the sand aimlessly. Her childhood was boring. So now... now that there was a small boy in front of her, about to kill a huge imaginary Cyclops, she figured she might as well help him!

Charlie didn't quite notice when someone entered the maze cabin. He was too busy fighting off his imaginary monsters, of course. He finally realized someone was here when he heard someone calling his name. Ooooh! A maiden asking for his help! ...or not. She was asking if he was okay? Pshh, of course he was. Swinging around as she asked if it was him screaming, Charlie nearly hit her with the sword. Oops.
Ignoring both the question about screaming and about what he was doing, Charlie went on fighting. He was too busy to talk, of course! There were monsters to fight! Dragons to kill! Evil queens to defeat and princesses to save! He would be crowned a knight after he defeated this deadly beast! Whoever had entered the cabin to spoil his fun was irrelevant entire-- "CYCLOPS? WHERE?"
Charlie spun around with his eyes wide. NOOO! He didn't want his came to become real! It was only fun when he didn't have to worry about being scared out of his wits. Immediately, he dropped the hand holding the "sword" and ran behind Orla. "Are we going to be okay?" He was practically whispering with his eyes squeezed shut.

Orla silently cursed herself. Oh gods, now she'd ruined the boy's game. He ran behind her and whimpered. 'Hm, how do I get out of this one..?" she thought. She picked up her "sword" and stabbed the air in front of her. "Yaahh! See, look! It's alright, I killed it!" she reassured him, stepping sideways and indicating that there was nothing there. She dropped her hands, sighing. "I didn't mean to spoil your game. I'm sorry," she said to him. "Should I just... go, or...?" Orla had no experience with children. She didn't have a clue what to do next.
She wished she had had a brother like Charlie. He was so sweet. She loved his imagination and his.. his overall adorableness really! But she couldnt help thinking, mainly when he was older, he would be a really useful ally to have in battle. She was watching his sword strokes, his swift stabs with the "weapon", and really liking what she was seeing. He was going to be great someday. A real hero.
She stood there thinking this as she looked at Charlie, wondering what was going through his mind. She still didn't know whether to leave because she was ruining his fun, or to stay because... well, maybe he wanted her to stay? When you were this clueless with kids, it was impossible to tell.
